Information for parents and children

We hope the pupils have all had a good rest during the holiday, as they are involved in lots of exciting activities over the coming weeks. We hope the following dates are useful.

Leavers' Evening
The children are looking forward to producing an evening’s entertainment for you!
A Big Thank You to all the parents who have helped out during the year by helping in the classroom, coming on trips, supporting sporting events and other extra curricular activities and supporting the children with their homework. Your help is very much appreciated.
Summer Term NumeracyDuring the term we shall be covering the following units.
Calculation, Shape and Space, Problem Solving, Dividing Decimals, Problem Solving with Decimals, Perimeter and Area Problem Solving, Percentage and Ratio, Proportion, Angles and Graphs.
We shall also be completing Transition Units to prepare the children for the transfer to High School.
Summer Term LiteracyDuring the term we shall be covering the following units in our Literacy lessons.
Reading and writing narratives, Poetry, Reading and writing non-fiction, Authors and texts. Extended narrative, Impersonal writing. We will also be completing High School Transition Units.
