Dear Parents,
Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had an enjoyable festive season.
Year 6 at Shugborough
Children in Year 6 have been at Shugborough Outdoor Education Centre since Monday 7th and will return tomorrow, 11th. We hope everyone enjoyed this experience.
Recycled Printer Ink Cartridges
Please keep sending any empty ink cartridges from all printers – if you have any at home please bring them into school – there is a collection box in the foyer. We will raise extra funds from this great new idea and help the environment at the same time!
French Club
A new session of French Club will begin next week. If your child is interested in joining please see

Parents Evenings
A list of events for this term will be available next week but we thought you would appreciate advance notice of this term’s parent consultation evenings.
They will be:
Wednesday 30th January, 3.30 – 6.30 p.m.
Thursday 31st January.3.30 – 6.30 p.m.
Blue Peter Disc Drive Appeal
Please send any discs (i.e. Computer games, CDs, DVDs.) you wish to donate for the Blue Peter Appeal to school. We hope you are able to join in with this appeal and look forward to seeing how many discs we collect.
Parents’ Coffee ‘Drop in’
Thursday 17th January – 2.30 p.m.
We are holding an informal tea/coffee afternoon at Main School on Thursday 17th January at 2.30 p.m. to which all parents are invited. We look forward to meeting you.

Thanks to everyone who helped and supported us in 2007, and let’s make 2008 even more successful. Remember the PTA is a volunteer organisation and so it is only as active as the people that support it.
PTA Meeting
Our next PTA meeting is on Monday 14th January, in the Staff Room at Main School from 7:45- 9:00pm. We will be reviewing the Xmas Fayre and starting to plan future social/fundraising events. All welcome.
