Family Letter number 4
Spring Term, 29th January 2009

Dear Parents,

Children unwell
If your child complains of tummy ache or feeling sick before school please keep him/her at home.  Children being sick in school quickly pass infection to the rest of the class.  One sick child rapidly becomes many sick children.

Friday 30th January 2009 – Class 3A Class Worship – 2.30 p.m.
Parents/Grandparents of children in Class 3A are invited to join us tomorrow for their Class Worship.

Parent Teacher Consultation Evenings
We look forward to meeting parents on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th February 2009.   Please contact your child’s class teacher if you have not yet received an appointment time.  Half Term Holiday Reminder

School closes at the normal time on Friday 13th February and reopens on Monday 23rd February.

Visit in school from ‘The Animal Man’.
On Tuesday 24th February the children will experience seeing an assortment of animals and a talk from a member of the Natural History Lecture Service.  This is always a popular event on our school calendar.

Parent Governor Nominations
Please collect nomination forms from the main school office. I am sure our existing Parent Governors would be quite happy to talk about their role if you are interested.  The closing date for nomination forms to be returned to school is tomorrow 30th January at noon.

Times Books for Schools
If you have any tokens from the Times newspaper please send them into school.
