Family Letter number 10
Spring Term, 19th March 2009
Dear Parents,
Nut Allergy
As you may be aware, there are a growing number of children in school who suffer from allergies to nuts and nut products.
Some of these children may suffer from anaphylaxis which is potentially serious problem.
In view of this I would like to take this opportunity to remind parents/carers that nuts and items containing nuts should not be brought into school.
Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
At St. Michael’s Church, 1.00 p.m. on Good Friday, we shall be thinking and praying through doing: activities suitable for all ages, and child friendly.
Come and help make our Easter garden, or a banner for church, paint an egg or write a poem or prayer. Stay to enjoy Hot Cross Buns around 1.45 p.m.
A short All Age, child friendly Stations of the Cross service follows straight after at 2.00 p.m.

Children’s Discos
Thank you to all the parents and staff who helped out at the children’s discos. Despite a late start, due to the DJ being stuck in traffic, an enjoyable time seemed to be had by all.
Also a note of thanks to the girl who found and handed in some money during the KS2 disco. It was successfully reunited with its (relieved) owner. Thank you.
Non-Uniform Day Thursday 19th March
Thanks also to everyone who supported today’s non-uniform day (Thursday 19th March) which forms part of the preparations for our family Easter fundraising event, Chocolate Bingo. As well as being an enjoyable day for the children, please remember that any funds raised will ultimately be used to benefit the children through extra resources or equipment.
