Drama Club
Wednesday 5th March will be the last Drama Club of this session. We hope the children have enjoyed taking part in these sessions.

Term Time Holiday Requests
We ask you to ensure that holiday forms are returned to school at least two weeks before any holiday commences. The current policy is that 10 days are allowed during each academic year. Any days taken over this number will be marked as unauthorised.
Class Worship – 1W
We look forward to parents/carers of children in Class 1W joining us tomorrow at 9.15 a.m. for this event.

Tesco Computers for Schools vouchers begin: Monday 3rd March until Sunday 11th May.
Please support our school by collecting and sending into school Tesco Computer Vouchers. Last year we purchased software for our Interactive Whiteboards, which especially focused on Literacy & Numeracy resources.
Tesco have extended their catalogue this year to include Art and Craft resources therefore Mrs. Garratt will liaise with Mrs. Wilkowski and Mrs. Hadfield. In terms of ICT we will be aiming to cover additional curriculum areas and hardware.
PTA News
PTA Meetings
The next PTA meeting is on Thursday 6th March from 7:45pm-9:00pm in the staff room at main school. We will be reviewing recent fundraising events and planning future events. All welcome.
Ladies Fashion Show and Clothes Sale
Thank you to everyone who helped at, and attended this event. Your support means a lot. We will let you know how much we raised as soon as we have the final figure.
Special thanks to Helen from the Body Shop and Jacey from the Pampered Chef for their time, help and enthusiasm.
And not forgetting… Our very own St. Michael’s Models. Without you the show quite literally couldn’t have gone on. Thank you.
Family Event Chocolate Bingo
Friday 14th March 6:00-8:00 pm
It’s nearly Easter once again and to celebrate St Michael’s PTA are holding an evening of family fun. Bingo with a twist- all the prizes are chocolate Easter eggs!
Tickets are priced at £1.00 per person (to include first few bingo cards- additional tickets will be available on the night). A separate letter will follow with full details and a ticket booking slip.
Non-Uniform Day Friday 7th March
There will be a non-uniform day on Friday 7th March as part of the preparations for our family Easter fundraising event: Chocolate bingo. Full details are to be found on the reverse of the Chocolate Bingo letter.
Children will be able to come into school wearing their own clothes in exchange for a suggested donation of either 50 pence per child or 1 Chocolate Easter Egg per Family. Just bring your money or Easter Egg into school on non-uniform day (Friday 7th March).
Please note that sensible clothing and footwear should be worn in school. No ‘Heelies’. Thank you.
