World Book Day – Book Tokens
Hopefully, your child has now received the World Book Day Book Token. If you have not please contact your child’s class teacher.

Easter Communion Service
for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 – Tuesday 18th March
Please join us for our Easter Communion Service in St. Michael’s Church at 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday 18th March.

Easter Holiday Reminder
The last day of term is Thursday 20th March; the children will finish at the normal time and return to school on Monday 7h April.

Recycled Printer Ink Cartridges
If you have any empty printer ink cartridges please bring them into school. There is a collection box in the foyer of main school.

Vouchers
We are still collecting Tesco and Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers. Please send any you acquire into school.

Drama Club
Yesterday, Wednesday 5th March was the last Drama Club of this session. We hope the children have enjoyed taking part in these sessions.

Good luck to our Boys’ Cross-Country Team
We wish our Cross-Country Team well for next Wednesday 12th March when they represent us at Whittington. Good Luck!

Netball
Congratulations to our Netball Teams who played so well in last week’s competition. We reached the semi finals. This was fantastic and the children should feel very proud of themselves. Many thanks to Mrs. Strachan and all of the adults who have helped coach, support and transport the children.

PTA NEWS

PTA Meeting

There is a PTA meeting tonight (Thursday 6th March) from 7:45pm-9:00pm in the staff room at main school. We will be reviewing recent fundraising events and planning future events. All welcome.

Ladies Fashion Show and Clothes Sale
This event raised just over £600. Thanks again to everyone who supported this event. We hope you had as much fun as we did.

Just a final note about our very talented St. Michael’s mums. Thanks to Ali Martinez for her fantastic display of beautiful hand-crafted jewellery.

And thanks too to our ‘super models’ - Sarah Armstrong, Emma Buck, Cathy Cutting, Chris Henson, Sarah Lahert, Julia Martin and Lindsey Smith. I’m sure you will all agree that they put on a terrific show. Well done girls!

Non-Uniform Day Friday 7th March
We are holding a non-uniform day tomorrow (Friday 7th March) as part of the preparations for our family Easter fundraising event: Chocolate bingo.

Children will be able to come into school wearing their own clothes in exchange for a suggested donation of either 50 pence per child or 1 Chocolate Easter Egg per Family.
Just bring your money or Easter Egg into school on non-uniform day (Friday 7th March).

Please note that sensible clothing and footwear should be worn in school. No ‘Heelies’. Thank you.

Family Event Chocolate Bingo
Friday 14th March 6:00-8:00 pm
It’s nearly Easter once again and to celebrate St Michael’s PTA are holding an evening of family fun. Bingo with a twist- all the prizes are chocolate Easter eggs!

Tickets are priced at £1.00 per person (to include first few bingo cards- additional tickets will be available on the night). Please return your ticket booking slips by Wednesday 12th March. Thank you.
