Family Letter number 5
4th February 2010
7th Lichfield (St. Michael’s) Scout Group
7th Lichfield (St. Michael’s) Scout Group is a vibrant community of like-minded people, focused on helping children realise their potential in an adventurous, fun and challenging environment. With over 120 members, the Group is the largest in Lichfield District and runs Beaver Scout colonies on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening, from their Scout HQ on Ash Grove, off Burton Old Road West.
For a long time the Group has been full to capacity, however due to a large number of children moving up into their next section – cubs, scouts and explorers, they are now pleased to open up the waiting list for Beavers once again. Children of any age can go on the list; however they can only join from the age of six. Both boys and girls are welcome, and in the words of Chief Scout Bear Gryllis, “Every child has a right to have an adventure”. To start your child’s adventure, please contact Cath Babbington on 01543 251089.
