Trial of Electronic Letters/Communication
For some time parents have been keen to receive school letters electronically. We are keen to trial this during the first half of the Autumn Term. If you would like to be involved in this trial please return the slip below providing us with your e-mail address. We will also be ensuring that all school letters are uploaded to the Learning Platform. Further information will follow shortly.
Yours faithfully,

Summer Fayre – a BIG success
Many thanks to everyone who helped out on the day and to everyone who came along to support us. We raised £1,908 at the fayre and an additional £644 for the raffle which will all go towards our fund for older children's play equipment.
We had a lot of positive comments on the day about this year's fayre and we are keen to get more feedback and comments from you, including areas to improve and suggestions for next year when our summer fayre will return to the main school site. Any comments or suggestions can be mailed to Cathy Gass at cathypta@virginmedia.com
Matched funding could also inflate the amount we raised at the fayre so if your employer offers a 'matched funding scheme' for fundraising we would really like to hear from you. Please contact Alison if you & your employer can help with matched funding for the fayre at alisonjedwards@hotmail.com.
... A big thank you to all!
We would also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who put in so much effort to grow plants, bake cakes and biscuits and make jam and chutney for the Summer Fayre at the weekend. The stalls were bulging with produce and kept eveyone very busy selling right up until the end of the Fayre.
Finally we’d like to thank all the year 6 pupils for their fantastic stalls. In total, the Year 6 stalls raised a fantastic £249. The competition for the most profitable stall was very close, but the winners by a narrow margin were Jamie, Milly and Joe with the stocks stall. We were particularly impressed that you managed to persuade the Deputy Mayor to go into the stocks! You will be presented with your prizes at the leavers’ evening next week.
School Bags, PE bags &, School Caps on sale now!
Book bags, pump bags and hats are for now on sale at the school office. The price list is:
Book Bags £6
Pump/PE bags £5
School Caps £5
Next PTA meeting – Monday 12th July

Yours faithfully
