Sports Day for Key Stage 2 is Wednesday 21st July at 1.30 p.m. also on the main school field.

Children may come to school dressed in their sports wear (of the colour of their house teams if possible) on these days.

Children will be dismissed from ‘class stations’ on the field at the end of the afternoon.  We would be grateful if children could bring as little as possible with them on this day.

Please be considerate - Parking on Housing Estate near Frenchman’s Walk
We have had many telephone calls from residents how are increasingly concerned by parents parking on their numbered parking spaces in this area.  Please be courteous as these are in fact people’s drives.  Please do not park there. We do know that Lichfield Police and Traffic Wardens have been consulted.

Beach Day – Nursery and Foundation Classes
Our Nursery and Foundation Classes are looking forward to their ‘Beach Day’ on Thursday 22nd July.  Children may come dressed in their clothes for the beach.

Transition Days
Children will be spending Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th July in their new classes

Summer Holiday Reminder

Friday 23rd July is the last day of term.  Children will be dismissed at the normal time.  The Autumn Term for pupils begins on Wednesday 8th September.

Open Evening – Tonight – 15th July 2010

Please come and join us at the Open Evening tonight, Thursday 15th July between 4.00 and 6.00 p.m.  Please feel free to look around the whole school, not just your child’s class.  It is a wonderful opportunity for you to see your child’s classroom for next year and celebrate their ‘STAR Week’ work from this term.

Walking Bus Update

First of all we would like to say a big thank you to all the parent volunteers who have manned the bus this year and well done to the children who have been participating.  We would also like to thank parents who have been mindful of the bus when it is moving down Frenchman’s Walk into the school playground – it really helps!

From September the Boley Park bus will continue to operate on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and the Shortbutts Lane route on Tuesdays and Fridays.  For further information please contact Alison Edwards for the Boley Park route (07969 523076) and Emma English for the Shortbutts Lane route (07961 987208).
