Family Letter number 7
10th June 2010
Dear Parents,
Build Update
As you can see, the builders have been very busy over half term and this week, despite the rain!
Many thanks to parents and carers for their support and co-operation with the implementation of changed entrance and exit routines this week. Everything appears to be working well.
Our apologies for any inconvenience caused by our telephone systems not receiving calls on Monday – the problems have now been resolved.
The only concern that has arisen is that some parents are waiting at the gate by the kitchen at the end of the school day to access the playground. Could we request that only afternoon Nursery parents use this gate as an entry to school at 3.00 p.m. to avoid the security of Nursery pupils handover to parents being compro9mised also to avoid congestion and confusion as classes of children are accessing the playground. We are, however happy for you to exit through the garden once all the classes have been released onto the playground.
Retirement of Mrs. S. Bradley
I am sure you would want to join us in wishing Mrs. Bradley every happiness in her approaching retirement. After many years as our Office Manager, Mrs. Bradley will be retiring on Friday 18th June. We are currently undertaking a recruitment process to appoint her successor.
