Visiting Rosliston Forestry Centre
On Friday 20th June, Year 2 visited
Rosliston Forestry Centre in Derbyshire.
They all had a fantastic day which began with pond dipping - where they learnt about many different creatures and their habitats.
Both classes were able to pond dip in 2 different pools.
In the afternoon they had an opportunity to watch a birds of prey, which was informative and exciting. Some of the children and adults had an opportunity to have the birds land on them - including a very worried Miss. Nickolls!
The staff in Year 2 are very grateful to all the additional adults who accompanied them on the visit.
